Procurement Manager
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies tailored to AL AMEEN's operations.
• Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with international and local suppliers.
• Evaluate and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in the procurement process while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies in all procurement activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a procurement team (if applicable).
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain management, and contract management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement.
