Job Position – IT Support Company Name – Al Fahimhq With Retail

Experience Mandatory (2-3 yrs experience in UAE)

To provide day-to-day technical support to retail staff, ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems in stores, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and maintain retail-specific applications and POS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail IT Support: Provide on-site and remote support to retail stores, including POS systems, barcode scanners, printers, and handheld devices. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues affecting store operations.

User Support: Handle support tickets for end-user issues including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, email, and network access. Assist with onboarding and offboarding of store staff (account creation, access setup, etc.). System Maintenance & Monitoring: Monitor network connectivity and ensure uptime in retail stores. Maintain inventory of IT assets at store locations. Support CCTV, biometric systems, and digital signage in stores.

POS & Retail Applications: Install, update, and maintain POS systems and retail software. Provide training and documentation to store teams on POS usage and troubleshooting. Incident &

Escalation Management: Log and track incidents and service requests through ticketing systems. Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support or vendors when needed.

Compliance & Security: Ensure data security and compliance with company IT policies. Regularly backup systems and support software license tracking.

Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in IT support, with mandatory experience in a retail environment. Experience with POS systems (e.g., Oracle Retail, SAP, Lightspeed, etc.) preferred. Knowledge of Windows, networking, routers, printers, and basic server support.
