Key Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical examinations, diagnose, and treat health issues in falcons and other avian species.
Develop and implement health protocols, vaccination programs, and disease prevention strategies.
Perform surgical procedures, sample collection, and laboratory diagnostics.
Monitor and manage nutrition, housing, and environmental conditions suitable for avian health.
Advise and collaborate with staff and clients on best practices for bird care and husbandry.
Keep detailed medical records and maintain compliance with relevant veterinary regulations.
Participate in ongoing research, training, and development initiatives related to avian health.
Qualifications & Experience
Veterinary Degree (DVM, BVSc, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Proven specialization or extensive experience in avian medicine, particularly with falcons.
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant veterinary practice, with demonstrated expertise in avian health management.
Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to veterinary practice in Bahrain.
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Passion for avian conservation and welfare.
