Job Requires:
– Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment (e.g. ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, gas ranges).
– Inspect, maintain, and repair laundry equipment (e.g. washers, dryers, presses, steamers).
– Perform routine preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
– Assist in the installation and commissioning of new kitchen or laundry equipment.
– Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
– Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues.
– Ensure all work complies with local codes, hotel safety procedures, and manufacturer’s guidelines.
– Maintain records of maintenance work, safety checks, and repairs performed.
– Follow all safety and hygiene procedures when working with gas, electricity, water, and chemicals.
– Keep an accurate inventory of tools and spare parts.
– Report major breakdowns or repair delays to supervisors and recommend corrective action.
– Provide regular updates and technical reports to management.
– Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC preferred.
– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a hospitality or commercial environment.
– Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
– Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
– Basic understanding of safety procedures and risk assessments.
– Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
– Carry out tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Department Head.
