Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Electronic Technician to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, operation, and maintenance of electronic equipment and control systems, including fire alarm systems and nurse call systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of all electronic-related devices across the hospital.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and calibrate all electronic instruments and control devices, meters, gauges, etc.
Repair electronic equipment, including sliding doors, TVs, sound systems, over-paging systems, and other low-voltage electronics.
Perform routine testing, calibration, and inspection of fire alarms and protection systems.
Monitor, inspect, and repair Nurse Call Systems.
Submit monthly inspection and maintenance reports to the supervisor.
Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and international maintenance protocols.
Uphold the highest standards of care, ensuring quality service and patient safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
High School Graduate with a 2-year Technical Diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation Technology.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in repairing electronic equipment (audio/video, office equipment, microprocessor-based systems, etc.).
At least 2 years experience operating and maintaining electronic systems in building facilities.
Strong knowledge of microprocessor-based systems and programmable controllers.
Familiarity with OSHA and international safety standards.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
