Commercial Finance Analyst

Job Location : United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales data, revenue trends, and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
• Conduct financial modeling and forecasting to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
• Perform profitability analysis by product lines, customer segments, and regions to assess performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to inform commercial decision-making.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Group guidelines.
• Support the Finance Business Partner in analyzing past results, performing profitability and OPEX variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements.
• Review receivable aging daily to provide overdue insights and follow action plans to reduce overdue amounts.
• Prepare and submit debit notes in a timely manner and work to collect all debit notes from vendors promptly.
• Build relationships across departments to identify requirements and opportunities.
• Work on assigned analytical projects and support the Finance Business Partner in monitoring, improving, and sustaining implemented projects of Group Finance.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant finance experience in a well-developed corporate finance environment, ideally within a multinational company with advanced reporting and data analytics processes.
• A graduate degree from a top university or business school, with a preference for those pursuing internationally recognized professional qualifications (ICAEW, CIMA, CPA, CFA, CA).

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity with data query/data management tools also highly valued (Access, SQL, Business Objects).
• Experience in B2B Distribution, FMCG, Contracting, and Retail finance is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work dynamically, be driven, and energetic, with a strong willingness to drive business decision-making.
