Key Responsibilities:
As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Provide general engineering consultations in the area of Motors & Generators to Saudi Aramco field operations such as refineries, gas plants, terminals, on an as needed basis
Write company, procedures and best practices in area of expertise. Serve on international standards writing bodies as opportunity allows.
Provide consultation and reviews for capital project developments reviewing engineering design packages. Attend project review meetings in or out of the Kingdom, as needed.
Introduce new technology that would boost company profitability and productivity.
Represent Saudi Aramco in dealings with vendors, manufacturers and/or design firms where expert engineering advice in his expertise is required.
Conduct peer-review of technical reports and reviews work of third party, project designs, technology reports, and engineering standards.
Share knowledge and experience with, as well as mentor, junior and developing engineers within the company.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will have:
Bachelor degree in electrical engineering. MS or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable. Professional Engineer (PE) license or registration is highly desirable.
Minimum of 20 years of professional experience, including years as an engineer responsible for technical work in his field of specialty, which includes experience in sizing, construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting of high voltage electrical machines, in addition to factory acceptance testing.
