The ideal candidate will have a solid background in internal auditing with a preference for experience in the hospitality industry. If you’re passionate about risk management, compliance, and delivering insightful audit reports, we invite you to be part of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develops the internal audit plan, program and methodologies in collaboration with the internal audit department head.
· Manage resources and audit assignments.
· Prepare draft audit programs, request listings, testing strategies, and other pre-audit planning activities aimed at ensuring an efficient and effective audit.
· Efficiently execute assigned projects included on the risk-based Internal Audit Plan, including audits of hotels, corporate functions, shared services, restaurants, and other business areas (as needed).
· Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
· Review completeness, appropriateness and effectiveness of processes, embedded controls and procedures, analyses deficiencies in terms of potential risks and recommends necessary action.
· Execute Internal Audit projects, internal controls testing, and preparing workpapers / reports in accordance with department and Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA) standards.
· Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
· Seek to continuously improve hotel audit processes to reduce risk and remain updated on developments within the hospitality industry best practices as well as related regulatory requirements.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of potential fraud and identify areas of risk.
· Manage various ad-hoc projects/special audits as advised by the management and internal audit team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· ACCA, CIA, or CA qualification is required.
· 3-4 years of relevant internal audit experience.
· Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
· Arabic speaker is preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
