Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee the English curriculum for grades 1-12
Provide mentorship and professional development for English teachers
Monitor and assess student progress in English language proficiency
Implement innovative teaching strategies and assessment tools
Facilitate departmental meetings and collaborative planning
Ensure resource availability and manage departmental budgets
Organize extracurricular activities such as debates, reading clubs, and literary events
Uphold standards of excellence and continuous improvement
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified in English or related subject area (Bachelor’s/Master’s degree)
Teaching Diploma or equivalent
Experience teaching English in the UAE or similar international settings
IELTS certification (if applicable)
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in curriculum design and departmental management
