Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator / Supervisor

Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the vehicle maintenance staff.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair work to ensure minimal downtime of vehicles.
• Conduct regular inspections of the fleet to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Procurement of Vehicle parts
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Train and mentor technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve any vehicle-related issues.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Automobile engineering Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, with at least [Y] years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, equipment, and tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
