Responsibilities
– Infrastructure & System Administration
– Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
– Monitoring IT systems to assess performance and security needs.
– Installing necessary updates, patches, and antivirus software.
– Managing user accounts, email setups, and network permissions.
– Maintaining biometric attendance, CCTV, and office-factory Wi-Fi setups.
– Keeping detailed records of IT issues, resolutions, and system Technical Support
– Providing hands-on technical support to end-users for IT-related inquiries or concerns.
– Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, escalating where necessary.
– Supporting remote access solutions and ensuring communication tools function reliably.
– Training employees on using IT equipment and essential software (ERP, email, productivity tools).ERP & Software Management
– Managing ERP platforms (Zoho, Epicor, or other systems) for finance, procurement, inventory, and operations teams.
– Supporting AutoCAD/Orga data/design software setups used by the engineering team.
– Coordinating upgrades and integration of software systems.
– Ensuring all software is licensed and up to date, Security & Backup.
– Implementing cybersecurity practices and monitoring threats.
– Performing routine data backups and ensuring disaster recovery readiness.
– Supporting cloud storage solutions (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) for team collaboration. Collaboration & Deployment
– Working closely with the IT team (if applicable) to deploy or upgrade systems and infrastructure.
– Supporting tech deployment for new projects and production sites.
– Providing system support during tendering, estimation, or project costing phases when needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
– Completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology or Computer Science.
– 3–5 years of work experience in IT system administration (experience in manufacturing or construction industry preferred).
– Familiarity with ERP systems, network management, and software installation processes.
– Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, batch)
