As a Product Manager at Emirates NBD, your role is to contribute significantly to the funds and ETFs offering of the bank. This includes supporting the team with origination, due diligence, monitoring and sales delivery of all funds and ETFs available through various channels along with associated ongoing platform enhancements and managing data for the team and the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify product needs for all customer segments across Retail Banking and Wealth Management working in conjunction with segment and channel leads and eliminate product gaps in the product/service offering. Continuously innovate and identify ideas that align with the house view and client needs.
Proactively develop, implement and manage new product innovations in order to deliver revenue growth, e.g. discretionary fund model portfolios for regular and lumpsum contributions.
Leverage relationships with asset managers for teach-ins, events and other sales activities.
Active engagement with front office teams via in person interactions and email updates.
Increase funds penetration within client portfolios by demonstrating quality of range and sales engagement.
Leverage data to generate actionable insights on product range.
Constantly review and increase rebate levels wherever possible.
Improve processes/ automate where possible, reduce TATs on various activities; Also take ownership of various sundry tasks that require the desk’s involvement on a day-to-day basis.
Explore new ways of delivering educational/sales content to advisors / Relationship Managers / clients.
Engage with internal stakeholders for platform enhancements and leveraging the bank’s digital capabilities.
Respond to all internal/external audits/requests accurately and completely.
Follow agreed policies, procedures and guidelines prescribed by control functions and regulatory bodies.
Skills and Experience :
Postgraduate in Finance from a globally reputed university.
CFA Charterholder
Minimum 2 years experience in fund selection/due diligence/investment products at market leading institutions.
Strong knowledge of global mutual funds, market trends, regulatory requirements, distribution best practices, investments and portfolio management including asset allocation, portfolio construction and performance attribution.
Understanding of funds due diligence and onboarding best practices in a wealth management/private banking context.
