In this role, your key responsibilities include:

•To act as the lead fixed income portfolio manager, responsible for managing and overseeing conventional and Islamic discretionary fixed income portfolios and funds, identifying and reporting on potential new strategies to ensure they foster the growth of ADCB Asset Management and support the achievement of ADCB Asset •Management business growth targets
Manage the oversight of fixed income investment portfolios and funds, ensuring they are in accordance with pre-determined investment mandates, Sha’riah parameters and regulatory requirements in order to achieve financial goals for clients
•Develop the fixed income investment management offering, encompassing product strategy, identifying incremental internal and third party solutions, engaging in the launch process for new offerings and management of the lifecycle of the existing offering to ensure the offerings match client requirements and best practice deliverables
Collaborate with stakeholders from across Asset Management and the broader ADCB business in order to grow the investment management offering
•Partner with Relationship Managers and Investment Advisers in order to support existing client relationships and win new client business
Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
•Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

•At least 7 years of equity experience in fixed income investment management within a Financial Services firm
•Bachelor's Degree in a related field
•Knowledge of Islamic Sharia rules and principles
•Excellent quantitative
•Excellent presentation and communication
•Proven managerial experience
•Proven negotiation and ability to influence others
•Fluency in English required, Arabic is desirable
