Technical Support & Maintenance:
• Learn to support, monitor, and maintain simulator training devices, attending to flight crew and maintenance requests, ensuring daily operational readiness, and performing scheduled preventive maintenance.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution:
• Develop the skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues and Aircraft On Ground (AOG) events on training devices, working towards long-term, permanent solutions for recurring issues.
Continuous Improvement:
• Play a part in improving maintenance procedures, and learn to handle recurrent updates like Nav DB, Terr DB, and EFB Charts. Support updates to operational software and ensure lesson plan accuracy.
Inventory & Logistics Management:
• Gain experience managing consumable inventory, tools, and logistics, including handling yearly inventories, organizing storage, and preparing items for shipping.
Skills Growth:
• With continuous learning, strive to become an expert in simulator systems, such as Visual Systems, Motion, or Flight Controls.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electronics, •Electrical Engineering, or Aviation-related fields.
Aviation Knowledge:
• Foundational understanding of various aircraft, especially commercial jetliners (e.g., Airbus family), and general aviation and training device terminology.
Language Proficiency:
• A Strong command of English (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
Customer Focus:
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Technical Knowledge:
• Familiarity with computer systems, including architecture, networking, operating systems, and basic programming languages.
• Training Insight: Basic understanding of the principles and practices in commercial aviation training.
