Job Title: Senior Generator Engineer

Work Location: Abu Dhabi

With occasional offshore visit as per requirements
Leave Cycle: 150/30 (for single status) - single status accommodation provided
335/30 (for family status) - Family status is subject to the approval of Management after successful completion of probation period.

Working Hours: Abu Dhabi: 07:00 to 15:00 (5 days a week)
Offshore: 06:30 to 18:30 (7 days a week)

Air Ticket: Round trip - Economy class provided (only for Employee)
Contract Type: Contract Hire
Food: AUH Office - Subsidised Food will be provided
Salary: AED 20,000 - 22,000 per month

Qualification (minimum):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• MBA (Advantageous)
• PMP certified (Advantageous)

Experience (minimum):

• 10 years relevant Mechanical experience of which at least 5 years in operations within the Oil & Gas Industry at Supervisory level or Managerial level
• UAE Experience (Oil & Gas) – Minimum – 3 year (preferable)
• GCC Experience (Oil & Gas) – Minimum – 3 year (preferable)

Background: Contractor, Construction, Commissioning, Maintenance etc

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• The Senior Mechanical (Generator) Engineer shall have responsibilities as following tasks by providing cost effective, timely and efficient support, while ensuring the safety and in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.
• To prepare bidding documents, evaluate bids, carryout clarifications, conduct meetings, review designs, engineering drawings, supervise the installation and commissioning activities related to gas turbine generators and compressor installation / replacement / operation & maintenance (but not limited to) of future and ongoing projects
• To assess existing facilities remaining lifetime through the confirmation of existing generator system operational risks

Special Competencies:

• Engineering experience (FEED & EPC), Generator engineering
• Mechanical design, equipment installation, commissioning and maintenance

Job Specific Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience in the gas turbine generator engineering & installation (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge and experience in the application of process operation systems and technology in Oil & Gas sector.
• Understanding of Mechanical engineering principles
• Excellent understanding of whole system of gas turbine generator packages (electrical & rotating) and compressor
• Understanding of any discipline engineering incl. process, piping and instruments.
