The University of Dubai is looking for a Research Assistant with a background in Clinical Studies or Biomedical Engineering to contribute to the interdisciplinary development of our AI-based assistive technology platform starting March 2025. The successful candidate will focus on data collection, clinical interpretation, and integration of biomedical insights into the project.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clinical partners to collect and analyze relevant data and other information.
• Assist in identifying optimal data features for medical applications through consultation with clinicians and stakeholders.
• Provide clinical and biomedical expertise to guide the design and validation of the AI models.
• Support the development of a user-friendly assistive technology platform for healthcare providers and families.
• Participate in writing research reports and contributing to academic publications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Studies, or a related field.
• Experience in working with clinical data and knowledge of diagnostic practices in Autism or similar conditions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret biomedical signals, medical images, and behavioral data.
• Familiarity with healthcare technology, medical devices, or AI applications in clinical settings is an advantage.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
