Pharmacist
Job Location : UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and verify customer prescriptions to guarantee accuracy, ensure the correct medication is dispensed, and assess suitability.
• Provide customers with essential information and guidance on drug interactions, side effects, dosage instructions, and proper medication storage.
• Promulgate medications as prescribed by physicians and healthcare professionals in accordance with established protocols.
• Foster a deep understanding of customer needs through targeted questioning and offer assistance when required.
• Achieve sales targets by leveraging effective sales techniques, upselling, and cross-selling across all Super Care product categories.
• Procure and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical equipment, and drugs while maintaining inventory levels and handling logistics.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and laws governing pharmacy operations, including preparation, labeling, and delivery of medication and other pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain accurate records of pharmacy activities and submit reports as mandated by external authorities.
• Counsel customers on selecting suitable medication brands, medical devices, or healthcare supplies and educate them on device usage (e.g., blood pressure monitors, diabetes management tools).
• Nurture strong working relationships with local physicians and healthcare practitioners to fortify business partnerships.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies to process claims efficiently and resolve billing disputes.
• Manage daily operational tasks such as inventory control, expiration management, merchandising, and staff supervision.
• Guide and mentor Trainee Pharmacists in preparation for graduation or licensure.
• Oversee monthly reporting requirements for controlled medicine sales as stipulated by external authorities like the Dubai Health Authority or Ministry of Health.
Required Qualifications:
• Hold a valid DOH license or possess an active DHA/MOH License (for conversion purposes).
• Immediately available candidates are preferred.
• Be willing to work onshore or offshore if necessary.
