Finance Coordinator

Job Description:

A highly motivated and organized Finance Coordinator to join our growing Finance Shared Services team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the smooth operation of the finance function

Responsibilities:

• Providing administrative support to the finance share services department.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice data entry, coding, and payment processing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records according to established accounting principles.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with the month-end closing process, including preparation of supporting schedules and reconciliations.
• Generate and analyze financial reports as needed, providing accurate and timely information to support decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as vendors, customers, and accounting teams.
• Adhere to internal control procedures and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Education and Certification:

• Familiarity with ERP Systems (Preferably oracle)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance (Completed)
• Fresher or 1-2 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willing to work on corporate timings from 08:30 to 05:30.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
